Referral

Upon contacting our clinic, you will be able to discuss your main concerns about your child’s speech and language development. Before starting therapy, it is recommended that your child has an assessment to identify areas of strength and difficulty. We accept clients who have been assessed elsewhere in the past 12 months.

Following assessment, our pathologists will involve you in goal setting and treatment planning. During treatment, our pathologists are committed to ensuring they communicate your child’s progress, feedback and areas to focus on at home in between sessions. Some therapy will involve family education and support. We deliver direct face-to-face therapy, telehealth and clinician-directed parent-based programmes for children with speech and communication difficulties.

At Kids OT a comprehensive assessment and therapy model is carried out to ensure each child is provided with an individualised programme to reach their potential.
